I quite like doing headshots and I especially like doing a bunch of them for your great group of people. I like how one of you told me your kids made you practice smiling that morning while they took pics with your cell phone. I like that one of you told me you played in a band - but not a Grateful Dead type band like your headshot colleague is in - but a 90’s top hits kind of band. I like how one of you had cool earrings and I liked them even more when you described how your favorite travel indulgence is finding little homemade jewelry boutiques in little New England towns. I like when one of you laughed about how hard it is to wear black when you are a blond and the importance of a carrying a good lint brush around. I like how one of you told me you have a new grandbaby and how much you can’t wait for Christmas to come so you can meet her for the first time. I liked all of you so very much that day, so thank you for sharing your time with me.

Fifteen minutes of headshots doesn’t have to feel like fifteen days. I promise we can make it not so bad.
