If I’ve learned one thing about getting older it’s that the body does a damn good job trying to compensate. If one area is stronger than another, other areas (muscles, tissues, cells, energy, etc) adjust to hold some sense of balance. This works for a little while, but eventually leads to pain, stress and even injury. And then all that takes it’s own time to unwind. So I guess it’s better to start it right the first time around and avoid a big mess.

If - like me - you have no idea how to do that, then I’d like you meet Margaret. She’s an Exercise Physiologist and Personal Trainer with over 14 years of experience working with all kinds of ability levels. She’s modest about it, but she has run 26 marathons (!!!!) and knows all kinds of things about building a strong core and preventing injury. She’s the kind of person that helps you reframe your relationship with fitness. “It’s a thing you GET to do with your body, not HAVE to do.” And if you aren’t sure you are ready, then take her clients testimonials for their word. She’s worked with many of them for years and you can tell they trust her implicitly. She knows that their fitness journey is so much more than just the right exercises. It’s a connection to health and wellness that will bring them a way to feel better, reach goals, and heal.
